The African Journal of Leadership and Development (AJOLD)
The African Journal of Leadership and Development (AJOLD) is a bi-annual, double-blind, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Ethiopian Civil Service University. AJOLD encourages all interested researchers to submit their unsolicited research outputs in the following thematic areas:
- Leadership and Development
- Leadership and Change Management
- Governance and Development
- Urban Good Governance and Development
- Public Policy and Development
- Public Service Reform
- Human Resource Management
- Public Expenditure Management
- Governance and Democracy
- Structural and Organizational Development
- Public Service Ethics and Corruption
- Environment and Development
- Federalism in Ethiopia
- Capacity Development
- Documentations of Good Practices in the Civil Service
- Cross Cutting Issues (Gender, HIV/AIDS, etc.)
Articles should be original and unpublished, and should not be currently under consideration by any other publication.
- Manuscripts should be 12” in size, Times New Roman in font, and single-spaced with 1” border margins in all sides.
- Manuscripts must use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition rules of reference format.
- Articles are expected to use between 7,000 and 8,000 words, including references.
- Each paper must be accompanied by the author’s profile summary of not more than 100 words, including institutional affiliation, current academic status, and contact information.
- Authors should submit manuscripts in both MS Word, and PDF.
